Martin has been working with Shiatsu for more than 20 years, and is a Fellow of the Shiatsu Society. Martin qualified with the European Shiatsu School in 2002 after studying for 3 years in London with some of the country’s most respected teachers.

As well as being part of the Natural Healthcare team at Lancaster University, Martin also works part time within the Alumni and Development department as a Development Services Manager. Being regularly on site allows him to be able to take part in many of the health initiatives around the University, and he is always available for a quick chat with staff and students to give timely advice about our services.

Martin’s main therapy is Shiatsu, which he uses to treat a wide range of conditions from sports injuries, to stress related issues and digestive problems. He has extensive experience of working with chronic conditions such as cancer, MS and lupus, and with training in postural correction, and energy techniques can help you with almost any symptoms you may have.
